Year 7 and 8 Girls Table Tennis Club (Thursday)

Following the recent success of the U16 Girls team in the Merseyside Schools tournament, we are looking to get more U13 Girls (Year 7 and 8) into the sport.

We are holding a new table tennis night on a Thursday. For those who do other sports on a Thursday you may find you can come to table tennis before you go to your other activity.

The year 9 girls are going to offer coaching as well give every pupil who turns up their own time using the training robot - FUN!

Limited spaces, we're only going to allow the first 8 pupils on Thursday so get there as early as you can as the whole point is to keep it a bit calmer than the often chaotic Monday night session that regularly gets 25+

Any questions come and see me

Movember Fundraising

Fundraising efforts for Movember - a charity fundraising event this November that aims to raise money for male cancer charities.

Note: Donations do not = grade boosts but may result in +1000 good karma - and who doesn't want good karma, right?

Welcome back 7GH!

Welcome back - I hope you have all had a great Half Term break. The first half of the term has flown by, so now we are in school until Christmas. It is a long term - 8 weeks of school before we break up (Friday 21st December) so keep your chins up, keep putting the effort in you have been doing and you'll be fine. Might sound daft but look after yourselves too, as the cold nights (and mornings) draw in and try to stay safe and healthy through the dark wintery period.

Message from Mr Birch who is in charge of uniform standards:

"Coats should be plain and preferably dark and cannot be replaced by hooded sweatshirt type pullovers.

Scarves can be worn outside, but they should be plain scarves used for warmth rather than decoration scarves should not be worn inside school buildings.

Hoods should only be worn in the rain and hats are unacceptable past the school gates."

But standards in our form have always been high, so for 99.9% of you just keep doing what you are doing.

Remember to keep your fundraising ideas coming in - our charity will be announced sooon - and any spare coppers you have lying around: Remember our coin tower challenge for the last week.
